PAYMENT

I take all forms of payment (including cash, check, Venmo and credit cards through PayPal). Lessons are charged per half hour ($35/half hour) and are billed monthly (typically $140—$175 per month depending on the number of lesson days in a given month). Invoices are emailed at the beginning of the month. Payment must be submitted by the fifteenth of the month.

ATTENDANCE/CREDITS

I require at least a 24 hour notice if a student will miss a lesson. This means if you are absent and do not contact me prior to the start of your lesson, you will still be charged and no make-ups will be given for no call/no show students. Credits and make-ups are not automatically offered. Credits are automatically given if I miss a lesson. However if a student misses a lesson, a make-up lesson can be scheduled per my and the student’s availability. It is the student’s responsibility to contact me and schedule a make-up lesson. Make-up lessons are only honored if they are scheduled within 30 days of the missed lesson. It is understood that special situations can arise; these are dealt with on a case by case basis. Where situations exist that prevent a make-up lesson because of scheduling conflicts, a credit may be issued that is applied to the following month’s tuition.

STOPPING LESSONS

A two week notice for cessation of lessons is required. In the event a student quits, a refund will be issued in the amount of unused tuition for that month (including any credits issued for the month).
